Language, culture, and arepas in the making. π
Spanish 2 students brought their learning into the kitchen as they made arepas with the help of our wonderful Meriwether Godsey dining team. From mixing and shaping to tasting the final result, students saw how language and culture come alive through food, conversation, and shared experience.
Throughout the year, students have learned from the people who make Holton such a vibrant place to grow, a reminder that education happens across campus and that every member of our community has something meaningful to teach.
Buen provecho! β¨

Service in full bloom. πΉπ Holton students volunteered with the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation, helping prepare roses to honor those who have served.
With guidance from Board Chair Maggie Sheedy, volunteers, and foundation leaders, students gained a deeper look at the work behind a nonprofit, from mission-driven service to flower growing, harvesting, transport, and the global flower market.
As they unpacked, trimmed, moved, and placed flowers, our Panthers showed care in action. It was a meaningful reminder that service is not only about showing up, but about understanding the mission behind the work.

Grateful for the people who care for our community. π
The Parents Association hosted a beautiful end-of-year brunch to celebrate Holtonβs amazing faculty and staff, bringing everyone together for a moment of appreciation, connection, and joy.
It was a thoughtful way to honor the teachers, coaches, advisors, and staff members who show up for our students in countless ways: in classrooms, studios, offices, fields, hallways, and every space where learning and belonging take shape. Their care, energy, and dedication help make Holton a home.
Thank you to the Parents Association for filling the room with warmth and helping us close the year with gratitude.

Ancient Greece, through 6th grade eyes. ποΈπ
Our 6th Grade Showcase of Learning invited families into a world of original student-written skits inspired by the ancient Greeks and the legacies they left behind. Students stepped onto the Black Box stage as writers, performers, historians, and storytellers, bringing their learning to life with creativity, humor, and teamwork.
It was a joyful celebration of how much they have explored this year and a beautiful moment for 6th grade families to see their students shine. β¨
