During the 2025–2026 school year, PBPS is reaching 320,000 students in 145+ school districts across 57 counties, bringing 156,000 pounds of local Pennsylvania beef to school lunch trays.

More beef, more often. More local farms supported. More students fueled with high-quality protein.

🍕✨ Last night, our School Board members stepped into the newly remodeled Middle/High School kitchen and got hands-on making their own pizzas before the board meeting! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🔥

From saucing dough to adding toppings, there were plenty of smiles, laughs, and delicious creations coming out of the ovens! 🍅🧀🥓 It was such a fun way to showcase this amazing new space and celebrate all the exciting opportunities it brings for our students and staff. 🙌🏫

This morning at Bethel Elementary and Penn Bernville Elementary, our amazing administrative team had the honor of serving breakfast to our incredible teachers and staff as a small token of appreciation for everything they do each and every day! ❤️🍎

From early mornings to late afternoons, our teachers pour their hearts into supporting, encouraging, and inspiring students, and today we were excited to serve THEM for a change! 🙌✨

🥩🎉 END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATION LUNCH! 🎉🥔

Today, Tulpehocken Middle & High School students were treated to an amazing end-of-year celebration meal featuring LOCAL boneless ribeye steaks from Happy Valley Meats made possible through the Pennsylvania Beef to Schools Grant Program! ❤️🐄

Today’s special menu included:
🥩 Local Boneless Ribeye Steak
🥔 Baked Potato topped with local chives
🧈 Texas Toast
🥕 Mixed Vegetables
🍎 Assorted Fresh Fruit
🥛 Local Milk

And yes… it was JUST as good as it looks! 😍🔥

🌾🚜 Farm Adventure Day Fun! 🐄🌞

Our 3rd graders had an AMAZING time at Farm Adventure Day! What better way to learn about where food comes from than spending the day right on a local farm?! 🌽🐖🌻

The Tulpehocken Food Service Department was so excited to serve lunch right on the farm 🧺🍔
