Bus 121 is experiencing a mechanical issue. At this time, I am unsure when it will be resuming it’s route. If you are able to bring your child to school, please do that. I will send another message once Bus 121 is able to resume its route.

TEST RESULTS ARE IN: Today, the State Board of Education released testing and accountability data for the 2025-2026, and there is good news for Gaston County Schools.

▪ 92 percent of schools meeting or exceeding academic growth expectations
▪ Highest year-to-year increase in student proficiency on state tests
▪ Graduation rate reaches an all-time high of 90 percent
▪ No schools with an F school performance grade

🎶 Welcome Our New Band Director! 🎶

We are so excited to welcome our new band director, Mr. Irwin, to our school community! We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things he will bring to our band program and our students this year. 🎺🥁🎷

🔎6th grade students put their detective skills to work using 🕵️‍♂️ “Mystery Boxes” 🕵️‍♀️ to kick off a lesson on making inferences! By examining clues, using what they already know, and making thoughtful predictions, students discovered how strong readers infer what isn’t directly stated.📚
