SO TRUE! And I have a few looooooong time students this year graduating. All the feels! 💜 ❤️

Some students leave your studio with stronger high notes.

Some leave with confidence to speak in class.
To audition.
To make friends.
To take up space.
To say yes...or no.

Some leave knowing how to handle nerves.
How to practice something difficult.
How to keep going after mistakes.
How to breathe through hard moments.

Some leave with memories of singing with you after a difficult school day.
Some leave remembering that your studio was the one place they felt safe to be fully themselves.

Voice lessons were never just about singing.

And even if a student only stays for one season, they carry pieces of your teaching with them for the rest of their lives. 💗💗💗

It has been a FULL 3 months of amazing performances by the RMS musicians! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing:

🎵 🎹 🕺 🪄 An amazing talent show
🖤 The Addams Family
⌛️ Freaky Friday
🦁 The Lion King Jr. (twice!)!

And I don’t have a picture, but The Longmont Chorale also had a wonderful performance celebrating women composers in March 🩷

Congrats to all the performers - it was a pleasure to come and see all your hard work brought to life in these amazing live productions celebrating music and that community. 🎵
