One of my goal is to bring fiscal responsibility and thoughtful planning to our district. Ensuring both short- and long-term stability for our students, schools, and community taxpayers.
When difficult decisions arise, I will always prioritize what impacts our children the least while minimizing the burden on our community. With an MBA and extensive experience in budgeting and financial projections, I understand how to balance educational excellence with responsible spending.
Together, we can make sure every dollar is used wisely, to strengthen our schools today and build a sustainable future for tomorrow.

As a write-in candidate, I want the Berlin Boro community to know that I deeply understand the teacher negotiation process and the importance of advocating for our educators. My experience comes from another district, where I proudly served for 11 years in multiple leadership roles: including Secretary, Treasurer, High School Vice-President, Executive Vice-President, Chair of Negotiations, and Chair of Grievances.
Through these roles, I successfully helped negotiate three separate contracts and consistently championed teachers’ rights, compensation, and the fringe benefits that are essential to attracting and retaining quality educators. In addition, I have completed over 100 hours of professional training through the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA), which has strengthened my knowledge and effectiveness in negotiations and labor relations.
I also want to emphasize that my commitment extends to our incredible support staff. They play a critical role in the success of our schools, and I will bring the same dedication and advocacy to ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions are valued.
Together, we can continue to support the people who make our schools thrive.

My slogan: Students, Safety, Success was chosen because it is 3 things that I truly believe in, as a write in candidate for the Berlin Boro Board of Education. The slogans’s acronym, is also an acronym for something that I have dedicated my time too, which is a School Safety Specialist. As a SSS, a certification from the NJDOE, for my current school district, this is something that I will bring to the BOE. This training was a 4 day training put on by the State as part of the Office of School Preparedness and Emergency planning.

Never should security plans be discussed in an open public session, however please know that safety is my number one core value as an administrator. Furthermore, I will champion this at BCS behind the scenes and in executive sesssion.

I am running for the Berlin Borough Board of Education because I want to bring my 23 years of educational experience to serve the community I have proudly called home for the past six years. Throughout my career, I have been a dedicated advocate for students, teachers, and families, guided by a deep commitment to student-centered learning, academic excellence, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

For 21 years, I served as a classroom teacher, cultivating a love of learning and building strong relationships with students and parents alike. My success in the classroom and passion for educational leadership led me to my current role as an elementary school principal, a position I have held for the past 2.5 years. In this role, I have worked tirelessly to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that empowers both students and educators to thrive.

As a lifelong learner, I recently earned my Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Human Resources in the education realm post-pandemic. My doctoral work reflects my commitment to understanding and addressing the evolving needs of educators and students in a rapidly changing world.

Strong schools are the foundation of a strong community. As a member of the Berlin Borough Board of Education, I will bring my extensive educational experience, collaborative mindset, and student-first philosophy to every decision I make. My priorities include promoting transparency, supporting teachers and staff, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and maintaining a strong focus on student safety. Above all, I am committed to ensuring that every student in Berlin Borough receives a high-quality, well-rounded education.
