"Chamber Music by the Sea ushers in its second decade on the Eastern Shore with a week-long celebration August 9-15 and we look forward to seeing you there! Six internationally acclaimed musicians will travel to Worcester County for varied performances guaranteed to delight audience members of all ages, in venues ranging across Berlin and Snow Hill.

The festival begins with a musical stroll in America’s Coolest Small Town, downtown Berlin. Four unique venues on Berlin’s Main Street (the Mermaid Museum, Art Collective at the Factory, Atlantic Hotel lounge, and Reverie Wine Bar) will host the musicians on Sunday, August 9, from 2:00-5:00 PM to whet your appetite for what is to come with free performances and a chance to mingle."

🎶Under the continuing sponsorship of the Worcester County Education Foundation, generously funded by the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation and festival ticket sales, Chamber Music by the Sea continues its mission of introducing Worcester County public school students to the arts with year-round initiatives that include live, interactive in-school programs and summer music education.

The WCEF recently celebrated several meaningful investments, including three teacher grant awards and a generous $10,000 community donation from Dockside Pocomoke.

WCEF Co-Chairs Kristie Fogle and Bobby Hammond presented teacher grants to:
• Jessica Gonzalez Paradis of Stephen Decatur High School— $1,734
• Kristin Parker of Berlin Intermediate School— $976
• Chef Phil Cropper of Worcester Technical High School, Newark MD: Culinary Arts — $4,956.87

Together, these grants represent $7,666.87 in direct support for educators and students, helping bring creative classroom ideas and learning opportunities to life.

WCEF also received a $10,000 donation from Dockside Pocomoke, owned by Jamie and Caitlin Evans. Their generous support is a powerful example of local businesses investing in the future of Worcester County students.
