Our end-of-the-year celebrations were a huge success!

A heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make our Field Day and Inflatable Day such memorable experiences for our scholars. Your time, energy, and support helped create a fun-filled end to an amazing school year.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Justin Litten for providing the inflatables. Your generosity helped make the day extra special for our students!

Thank you to everyone who supported our grade-level fundraisers throughout the year! Because of our staff’s hard work and your generous support, our scholars were able to create lasting memories through meaningful experiences.

Our fourth graders enjoyed a trip to the National Zoo, with the learning carrying over into the very hallways they travel each day. Our fifth graders had the opportunity to enjoy an experience at the Alamo, and our third graders enjoyed a fun-filled day at Jellystone Park.

Thank you for helping us provide opportunities that create special memories for our scholars. Every scholar, every day!

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the local businesses and community members who generously donated items, gift cards, and treats to help recognize and celebrate the staff at WSIS.

A huge thank you to The Country Inn and Cacapon Mountain Brewing for generously donating gift cards to help us celebrate our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! Congratulations to our lucky winners, Mrs. Stotler and Mrs. Avey!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Jennifer Hess for dropping off delicious Crumbl Cookies that our staff truly enjoyed. We are so thankful for the incredible support our community continues to show the staff at WSIS!
