Oh, the stories they can tell...
What fun we had at "Meet the Teachers" for Fall. Chair Yoga's Lisa Wittman got us str e t c h ing in our seats while Doug Imhoff had us dreaming of cowboy hats and the Wild West. Tom Marni gave us chills with a lookback at Cold War realities (think Doomsday Clock, Bay of Pigs, Sputnik) and Dr. Joe Reardon brought us to a new reality with "Earth for Earthlings" - just what does AI mean to our Ohio energy future?

Pat O'Leary has a timely perspective on how elections change America while Ted Smith offers a different view with "The Mind of the Universe." Justice Barbara Greenberg's "Look at Six Supreme Court Cases" includes 2026 decisions, and others that impact Ohioans right now like geofencing, end of life decisions, and voter districting.

Happily, Neil Oblanski has a lot to say about "A Century of Comedy" and Terry Meehan is a master of Hitchcock's "Frenzy" and other films. On the creative side, Janet Perc will sew things up, crossbody bag wise, and Anne Cole promises that in her watercolor class "The water does the work for you" with "something for everybody - beginner to advanced." Come to think of it, that rather sounds like ILR itself, don't you agree-- something for everybody! Hope to see you this fall!

"Splendid Scotland with Robin Swoboda” is booking now for September 12-20, 2026 tour

Why not head to Scotland this fall with Robin Swoboda? Join with other ILRBW travelers for a beautiful nine-day excursion from Glasgow to Inverness and Edinburgh September 12-20. You'll be entertained with Scottish bagpipes and humor and catch a glimpse of the Battle of Culloden where the British defeated the Highlander Clans.
