Help us celebrate Emmaline McCall, our Student of the Month at Enoree Career Center!

Emmaline attends Travelers Rest High School and previously attended Northwest Middle School. Last year, she explored Enoree’s programs through Career Exploratory and discovered an interest in the automotive industry. She returned this year to join our Auto Collision program, where she has shown a strong work ethic, technical ability, and a willingness to learn.

Emmaline takes pride in her work, follows through on her responsibilities, and readily helps her classmates. She has grown in skill and confidence and now serves as Shop Foreman. In this role, she puts her communication, teamwork, and leadership skills into practice while helping the shop operate successfully.

Emmaline has earned the following certifications:

- OSHA 10
- STOP THE BLEED
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Microburst EmployABILITY Soft Skills
- Financial Literacy

Through hands-on learning in Auto Collision, Emmaline is developing skills in collision repair, refinishing, mechanical and electrical systems, and workplace safety. She is also learning to manage responsibilities and work with others, preparing her for the expectations of the industry.

Congratulations, Emmaline! We appreciate your hard work, your willingness to help others, and the example you set in the shop. We are proud of your progress and look forward to seeing what you accomplish next!

A first paycheck is exciting. Knowing how to read it matters, too!

Mrs. Ward’s Career Exploratory students put their Personal Finance skills to work in a Paycheck Scavenger Hunt at Enoree Career Center. They read sample earnings statements, calculated take-home pay, and identified deductions. Each answer led to their next station, combining movement, teamwork, and practical learning.

Career Exploratory gives students the opportunity to earn their required Personal Finance credit while exploring our career programs. Students alternate weeks between learning with Mrs. Ward and getting hands-on experience in our programs, helping them explore their interests while building skills they will use in any career!

We’re proud to celebrate another Enoree Career Center student stepping into a Work-Based Learning placement. These opportunities are earned through hard work and prepare students to connect their classroom skills with real-world experience.

Work-Based Learning is a key part of CTE, helping students grow in responsibility, industry knowledge, and career readiness. Congratulations on taking this next step toward building a strong future!

Congratulations to our Hispanic Heritage Week Door Decorating winners!

Third Place: Law Enforcement

Our door decorating competition gave students an opportunity to work together and teach others about Hispanic and Latino cultures, contributions, and traditions. Judging considered cultural accuracy and respect, educational content, creativity, student participation, and how well each display communicated its chosen focus. We appreciate our students and teachers for helping make our hallways a place to learn and celebrate, while building pride and a sense of belonging here at Enoree!

Culture, traditions, and school spirit! Enoree's Hispanic Heritage Week is in full swing!

Our students and staff came together to celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of our Hispanic community. From traditional clothing and cultural performances to colorful piñatas and plenty of laughter, today's celebration gave everyone an opportunity to experience and appreciate the cultures represented throughout Enoree.

Our Culinary Arts students, under the guidance of Chef Twaler, brought some incredible flavors to the celebration! Students prepared and served traditional dishes, including cochinita pibil from Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, along with sweet treats such as alfajores, traditional sandwich cookies often filled with dulce de leche. Students also shared the history and cultural significance of the foods while putting their culinary skills to work through preparation, presentation, and service.

Today's activities were a wonderful reminder of how food, music, and traditions can bring people together. Thank you to everyone who shared their heritage and helped make the celebration possible. And we're not finished yet! Hispanic Heritage Week continues tomorrow!

At Enoree Career Center, food is more than a meal—it is a way to share culture, strengthen relationships, and build community.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Culinary Arts students prepared and served Latin-inspired dishes for students and guests to enjoy. This hands-on experience allowed our students to develop career-ready skills while helping create a welcoming school culture where everyone feels valued.

As Chef Twaler often reminds us, “Food is culture.”

Enoree Career Center’s AM students enjoyed a wonderful Hispanic Heritage Celebration today! We were pleased to welcome Maria Beltran from Immigration Legal Services to campus for a special presentation.

Our Culinary Arts students prepared and served Latin-inspired dishes as part of their work-based learning experience. This was a great opportunity for students to develop workplace skills while sharing delicious food and celebrating Hispanic culture.
