WJHS Wildcat Band

This short and fin week in the Wildcat Band!

Absolutely fantastic day at SDC! Virtually no lines and the rain held off the majority of the day!

Attire: Concert Black (w/splash of color optional)
5:00p - Jazz Band Released from Marching Band to change and quickly snack
5:20p - Varsity Band members released from Marching Band to change and eat
5:30p - Jazz Band Sound Check on Stage
5:15-5:40p - 7th Grade and Varsity Band (non marching) arrive. Place instruments neatly in the band room.
If you have a WJHS at home tuba, euphonium, tenor sax, bari sax, marching baritone, or mellophone you can place it neatly on the Bentonville Bands trailer parked at the loading dock.
5:50p - 7th Grade Band and Varsity Band (non marching) seated in reserved section of the auditorium. 7th grade on the left (when facing the stage), Varsity Band on the right (when facing the stage)
6:00p - Jazz Band Starts (every students except Varsity Marching Band should be here)
6:10p - Varsity Marching Band students seated in reserved section (at the latest)
6:30p - Approximate time 7th grade band starts
Jazz Rhythm section will load jazz equipment onto the trailer, return drum set to the BHS Band room
7:00p - Approximate time Varsity Band starts
7:45p - Approximate time all students help strike the stage

Final full week of band! Concert Tuesday. Instruments due Wednesday. All fees due Thursday. SDC Friday. Going to be a great week!!!

BEAUTIFUL afternoon for spring training!!

Great time playing for families as they wait for the start of the band concert! Which by the way was standing room only! Wow!!! They were on 🔥!!! Can’t wait to have these kids join the Wildcat bands next year!!! The future is bright!

Going to be a GREAT week in band! Be sure you have your instrument on RTI rehearsal days!
