I’m very excited to share that my painting, "Between Wind and Endurance," has juried into “Art in the West” at the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon. With four out of five entries rejected, I’m deeply honored to have this piece included among such a strong and competitive field of artists.

Between Wind and Endurance is a 24" × 13" painting inspired by the high country of the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge. Dominated by vast sagebrush steppe and native bunchgrasses, this rugged landscape is shaped by wind, distance, and endurance, with windswept ridges punctuated by stands of mountain mahogany.

Getting a new painting mapped out to work on in my booth at the Harney County Migratory Bird Festival. Found this little yellow warbler hopping around outside the Malheur Visitor Center on a previous visit to the area. Stop by at see me at Bird Central / Art Show this weekend to see how it is progressing. This year we will be located at Geno's Youth Center Gym, 135 E Washington St in downtown Burns.

I'll be there! The Harney County Migratory Bird Festival is this weekend in Burns. If you are in the area, stop by and say hi. The artists will be at the Geno's Youth Center gymnasium along with Bird Central.

Hoppin’ at Layor Art Gallery for First Friday Art Walk! Thank you Bend for supporting local artists!

My show, "East of the Cascades: the Oregon I Love" will be hanging at the Oxford Hotel for the month of February. The gallery space is in the hotel lobby. Stop by on First Friday and say hi. I plan to be there from 5-6 or so, then I will head over to Layor Art where some of my new work is showing.

I am excited that my painting of Painted Hills in winter was chosen for the upcoming exhibit, "Guilds of Central Oregon," featuring artwork from several Central Oregon Art Groups, including Plein Air Painters of Oregon, of which I am a member.

This show can be viewed February - March at the newly opened Dry Canyon Community Art Center in downtown Redmond, Oregon. The show opens for the First Friday Art Walk this week.
