The OSU-Cascades MFA Writing was honored to welcome Carter Sickels as our Spring 2026 Distinguished Visiting Writer. Carter led a seminar for all students in the program, and read from his book The Prettiest Star (Hub City Writers Project) for free event open to the public. Thank you, Carter, for spending time with us in Bend, and for offering up such an engaging experience for our community!
