We had so much fun celebrating Earth Day! Thank you Sky View Middle School Bend PTSA for sponsoring this event and our staff, students, and families who helped refresh our garden!

Sky View Falcons will engage in reading this summer through our summer reading program, Falcon Summer Reading: The Biggest Book Club in Bend"! Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will choose from our list of books inspired by the 2024-2025 OBOB titles. Over the summer, kids will read their book and complete the activity sheet provided at the end of the school year. When they return to school in the fall, Sky View will host a Book Club day complete with activities and prizes. All Sky View Community members are invited to read, so review the list, get a book for your student (and yourself!), and read! Today during math classes, our students celebrated pi day in the best way possible...eating pie! Thank you Sky View parents and Sky View PTSA for helping us celebrate today!

Yes, the next two days are going to dump ❄️, so it’s the perfect Saturday outing at Hoodoo! A huge thank you to Mathew and Tasha McFarland for their generous offer for night skiing at Hoodoo this Saturday the 2nd from 4-9pm. Only $20 for a lift ticket and rentals! You can’t beat that🥳.

Earlier this week, some of our students participated in an art show! Viewers were able to walk around and see projects from our art classes, wood shop classes, and more! Spectators also had the pleasure to listen to some tunes from Broken Charlie! A band of some pretty cool teachers here at Sky View.
