The purpose of the Women's Mindfulness Group is to meet and connect with an intimate group of like-minded women to talk about real topics related to personal growth, self-love, self-acceptance, relationships, health, mindfulness, wellness, and styling. It is a safe space to be yourself, be vulnerable, speak your truth, share ideas and connect with others on a deep level. Every month we discuss a different topic. The conversation will be led by Life Coach Meli Bolanos.
February's Topic: Self Love
• GAIN AN UNDERSTANDING of what Self Love is & why it's important.
• GAIN AWARENESS of what Negative Thoughts you are having about yourself.
• LEARN ways to connect to your inner self in a loving way.

2020....what a year! All of us have gone through challenging times and many changes, and unfortunately some of us have suffered greater changes and greater losses than others...my heart goes out to you.
During the second half of 2020 I went MIA, and here is what I've been up to:
Mark, Lola, Zoe & I packed our bags and drove across country from Miami to Bend, Oregon back in April. We spent the rest of the year settling into our new life and exploring all the beauty and awesomeness that Oregon has to offer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I decided to take last year to truly settle into our new home, explore as much as possible, and figure out what my next path will be and what I want my new life to look like.
I feel immensely drawn to nature...now more than ever and am happier and healthier than ever (mentally, physically and emotionally). I feel more connected to myself and nature than ever. I have hiked my heart out, started trail running, learned how to ski, gotten into backpacking and mountain biking too.
Research in the scientific field of ecotherapy has shown a strong correlation between reduced anxiety, depression and stress and the amount of time spent in nature.
I have been thinking of how I can help my clients experience the same inner peace and joy that I am feeling & offer them the opportunity to connect with nature and themselves - a wilderness retreat is in the making so stay tuned!

FREE MEDIATION & ANXIETY GROUP COACHING
Hi Friends,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. We are all experiencing uncertain times, which naturally bring up a lot of stress and anxiety. For this reason, Sydney Allen, and I (we are both life coaches) have decided to host free meditation and group coaching calls frequently in order to serve our community (figuring out how often still, but as much as we are able to).

Uncertain times lay ahead.

Yes: be prepared (within reason, avoid hoarding supplies), be informed (try to stick only to reliable news sources such as the CDC and WHO), and try to remain calm.

A situation like this can naturally bring up a lot of stress & anxiety.
*
The best thing you can do is try to remain present (use your 5 senses to ground yourself in the present moment), take it one day at a time, practice social distancing and practice conscious breathing to calm your nervous system therefor your stress reaction.

Climbing mountains alongside cliffs is both difficult and scary. But once you reach the top, it’s the most gratifying feeling ever! Same goes for conquering any fear we have. Yes it’s scary, and yes it’s worth it! I challenge you to face your fears, do the work on yourself and climb that mountain until you reach the top and are living aligned with what your true self really wants your life to look like. I promise & guarantee your life will never be the same... you will never be the same! 💙.
