Summit High School

One hundred years ago yesterday — September 7, 1925 — the building now known as the Bend-La Pine Schools Education Center first opened its doors as Bend Union High School. That day marked the beginning of a century filled with learning, community, and unforgettable stories. Over the years, this historic building has served many roles: it became Cascade Junior High, hosted the first classes of Central Oregon Community College, and welcomed young learners as the community’s Kinder Center. In 1993, the building was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places. We invite you to celebrate this incredible milestone with us! On Saturday, September 27, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, we’re opening the doors of the Education Center for a community open house. Enjoy tours, view artifacts, listen to performances by Bend-La Pine music groups, and sample bites from the Bend Senior High culinary program — all while exploring a century of memories. Senior Photos are due November 7, 2025
Seniors are encouraged (but not required!) to submit their own senior photos via the Varsity website (Link will start collecting portraits September 1, 2025). Our school code is "skostorm." Make sure you select "Upload Your Portrait" after entering your contact information. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR PHOTO HAS BEEN UPLOADED. If you see the green checkmark and the screen that says "Upload Complete Thanks for Sharing" then you uploaded correctly! We will contact you personally if there are any issues with the portrait. If no photo is submitted, the senior's school photo will be used in the yearbook.

Early-bird pricing of $55 ends October 31st. Students are only guaranteed a yearbook if they Pre-Purchase their book. All Pre-Purchase sales end December 22nd, so reserve yours today!

Books can be Pre-Purchased online using your student's account in the district's payment website, Touchbase. You can sign in to Touchbase using your student's login and password to make a purchase or check your receipts.

Because we order based on the number of books purchased ahead of time, your book is only guaranteed if you Pre-Purchase! Yearbook updates concerning sales, distribution and more can be found in the daily announcements, on our website, our Instagram account, and Summit's page.
