Families all over are choosing Belton ISD — and it shows! 📈 BISD student enrollment has grown by 12.4% in just five years. That’s a lot of new friends and learning happening every day!

💪 Even with all this growth, Belton ISD is staying strong with our money. Out of all the similar fast-growing school districts, BISD has the 4th lowest bond debt — and even if all four bond plans pass, our total debt will still be $81 million less than other similar districts.

💡 Belton ISD knows how to stretch a dollar! With the 2nd lowest taxable property value among similar fast-growth districts, we’re proving that smart spending helps students learn more while protecting our community’s money.

⭐️ Belton ISD has earned an “A,” the state’s highest financial accountability rating for 14 consecutive years, reflecting strong financial stewardship and superior achievement.

If the bond proposals are approved by voters, the property taxes of those 65 and older with a “65 and Older Homestead Exemption” would not be affected. Taxes of those receiving 65 and older homestead exemption are frozen at their present rate for as long as they own and occupy their home provided the property tax exemption is claimed and assuming no improvements.
