Lander is recovering so well!!

He looks to have put on some healthy weight bringing his body score up to a 3.5 He still has a ways to go but he has the green light to go back into light training again.

His leg is looking gorgeous just a little puff on his knee yet with a little residual swelling from his compression wrap.

His mind is calm... but the kid is bored 😂 he is ready to do something other than sit in his pen ❤️

Zaza hanging out and doing what she does best... judging everyone and figuring out how she can con her next victim into giving her extra food 😂

Got some yummy Sentinel SR for the guy to help with his digestion and some probiotics to bring his gut back to life. Plus a half bale of alfalfa hay 😅 big boy can sure pack it away

Lander has two pyloric ulcers and some pyloric changes. We're working to find medication for him that's in stock now.

After speaking with the vet, there's a really good chance he'll relapse so we're going through some nutritional changes to keep his gut healthy. Ironically, I asked her about some of the popular supplements that supposedly helps with preventing ulcers just to learn that they don't necessarily have any studies done to show it's what it actually does.

So, after some really great recommendations from the staff we're on the hunt for some great products.

Today's second dinner of soaked alfalfa pellets and Triple Crown ❤️ Lander is so hungry!
