Healing from trauma isn’t always a straight line. Sometimes it comes in waves—somatic, emotional, and connected to memories from the past.

After attending a conference, Kara reflects on the waves she experienced that day and how different each one can feel—some gentle, others powerful and unexpected.

Healing doesn’t mean the waves disappear. It can mean learning to notice them, understand them, and move through them. 🌊
