I believe in following the Science of Reading when I teach. If you are looking for a tutor please make sure they use Speech to Print is a MUST, knowing how our brain learns to read is a MUST. Using decodable

texts for practicing concepts is a MUST. NO LLI OR LEVELED readers until the student has a solid foundation in phonics (blending and segmenting). I am here to help.

Luckily, a portion of educators have been motivated to learn about dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, executive functions and all related learning differences.

Any educator can join The Reading League, Cox Campus, Learning Disabilities Association of America, Decoding Dyslexia, Understood, Center for Reading, Canadian Children's Literacy Foundation, REED Charitable Foundation, University of Florida Literacy Institute,The Florida Center for Reading Researchch and others to learn more.
