I make greeting cards and teach card-making classes in the Bellevue, WA area. I am also an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Several years ago, I set out to make my wedding scrapbook and accidentally fell in love with cardmaking along the way! I love to play and experiment with paper crafting, and cards are the perfect, small project for that. I've been making cards for friends and family for a few years and am now ready to teach classes and help others fall in love with cardmaking, too! demonstrator and am always happy

This is what happens when a friend commissions a card before you’ve finished the one you were working on and your whole craftroom explodes. But I made a couple of cards! :)

The new Stampin’ Up! catalog just went live, and I couldn’t wait to play with the Free as a Bird set!

As part of my efforts to get more organized, I’ve decided to create a binder with a visual inventory of all my stamps so that I can easily find the perfect set. I’m now cataloguing each stamp set as I use it because the idea of doing my whole collection all at once is overwhelming. What organization tips have been helpful for you?

Hello and happy new year! (How are we already half-way through February??) Since it’s been cold and snowy here, I felt inspired to continue to with Christmas cards. Here’s my first card of the year.

Stay warm and craft on, my friends!

I finally got into the craft room and made this Halloween card using the Detailed Gate Thinlit set and Graveyard Gate stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.

Quick tip: There are a number of ways to adhere intricate die-cuts, and no method is perfect. But this is my favorite right now. I saw this can of spray adhesive with all my sewing stuff and decided to give it a try. It makes very easy work of these snowflake corners! Just be sure to go over the adhered die-cut with your embossing buddy (anti-static bag) to de-stick any of the spray adhesive that may have gotten to the top of your die-cut.

Year-End Closeouts 12/01/2016

Today kicks off Stampin' Up!'s end-of-year close-out! Now is a great time to grab anything from the holiday catalog that you like but haven't gotten around to buying or to stock up on retired paper and embellishments while they're back. There are some great deals, too, especially on the retired paper and embellishments.
