Meet Zayd! He has been a part of the Eton community since age 3.

💚 Favorite memory: My favorite Eton memory was when we went to the Mount Rainier Institute in 7th grade. I especially enjoyed it when we sat and talked around the campfire.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? Mrs. Shamsuddin was someone at Eton who inspired me. She was my Pre-elementary teacher, and I don’t remember a lot, but I do remember having a great time in her class, and overall she was an excellent teacher.

💚 Favorite memory: My favorite Eton memories are our holiday parties in Middle School!

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? Ms. Amelia is my all-time favorite teacher. I have asked her opinions on so many things, and she has helped me through my hardest times.

💚 Favorite memory: My favorite memory from Eton School was the first time I came to Veladare and played the escape room that Mr. Kashevarof made.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? My favorite teacher was Ms. Moore because she always made me laugh with her “teacher jokes” and her funny personality.

💚 Favorite memory: One of my favorite Eton memories was when we were on the sailboat with the Salish Sea Expeditions, and Tanaya, Ms. Zender, and I took selfies when the waves were really rough.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? The person who inspired me at Eton was Ms. Wali, my Pre-elementary teacher, who still checks in on me even ten years later.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? I have been at Eton School for eight years, and one teacher who has inspired me is Mr. Music, my 1st-3rd grade teacher.

💚 Favorite memory: Salish Sea Expedition was my favorite Eton memory because I learned how to sail. I loved being out on the Pacific Ocean. I also loved the impromptu dance party we had at the Mount Rainier Institute when I was in seventh grade.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? Mr. Crotty inspired me for teaching to respect the outdoors. Ms. Moore also inspired me for helping me with math and bringing doughnuts in seventh grade!

Meet Shira! She has been a part of the Eton community since first grade.

💚 Favorite memory: I have quite a few favorite memories of Eton. I especially remember the day I came to visit Eton in first grade. We had PE with Ms. Butler, and we played a parachute game. I also got to experience the way Eton taught, which was a lot different from my old school, and I loved it! I also really enjoyed all the events that Eton had over the years, like the all-school dance, the school plays and musicals, and the Cultural Fair.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? A staff member who really inspired me was Ms. Tadeja, who taught me through elementary school. She has been an important person in my life throughout all the years I’ve been at Eton.

💚 Favorite memory: My favorite memory is from Lower Elementary when my teacher, Ms. Kim, turned into a robot in class.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? Ms. Kim, my 1st-3rd grade teacher, Ms. Moore and Mr. Eckard, my Middle School teachers, all inspired me at Eton School.

💚 Favorite memory: My favorite memories were going on the overnight trips to Mount Rainier Institute and Salish Seas on the sailboat and getting to learn about the outdoors with all my friends.

🌟Which teacher or staff member inspired you? I appreciate all the Eton staff and what they’ve done for me, but if I had to single out a few teachers that really inspired me, I would have to say, Mrs. Moore, Ms. Eleanor, and Ms. Amelia. I was inspired by them all to be authentically myself and inspire others to do the same.
