The Eastside German Language School (EGLS) in Bellevue, WA, is seeking native or fluent German speakers to teach our elementary and middle school students. Applicants should be enthusiastic about teaching German language and culture to young learners as part of our Saturday morning school program.

Role description & requirements:

• Preparing fun and meaningful lessons for elementary and middle school aged students
• Commit to teaching class on Saturday mornings from 9:15am to 12:15pm between September and May onsite in Bellevue, WA
• Applicants must have native or near native proficiency in German.
• Hourly page range is between $36 - $42 depending on teaching experience and years of service at EGLS

Job openings for German Teachers at EGLS

The Eastside German Language School is looking for a German Kindergarten teacher as well as substitute teachers. Our school is located in Bellevue, WA.
Our primary purpose is to teach the German language and culture through speaking, reading and writing as well as games, songs and a variety of projects. The Saturday school program offers classes for children and adults from September through May (32 sessions), on Saturdays from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
EGLS offers the German proficiency tests A1 and A2 and the German language diplomas DSDI and the DSDII, and prepares students for German AP and STAMP test.
Applicants must have a valid work permit and native or near-native fluency in German. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Please send your resume to [email protected].

Time: 6 – 8:30 pm
Location: Online, Zoom
