Bellevue FFA had a very successful weekend hosting the annual Steve Schroeder Livestock Judging Contest! 🐄🐖🐑 We had a lot of fun bringing everyone together for a great day of competition while honoring our past ag teacher, Steve Schroeder.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with setup and takedown, everyone who allowed us to use their livestock, and Martens Angus for sponsoring the awards and helping with the contest. We truly could not have done it without all of your support!

Finally, congratulations and thank you to all of the participants who competed! We appreciate everyone who came out and helped make this event a success. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙💛

🐷 State Fair Swine Show Recap! 🐷

This week brought the swine show at the State Fair for our Bellevue FFA members, and these two members gave it their all! 💙💛

On Wednesday, Pryce hit the ring for showmanship and gave it everything he had!

Thursday was a busy day in the ring. Pryce showed his purebred Berkshire market hog, earning 10th in his class. Cameron showed his gilts in both the commercial and purebred shows, earning 2nd in Division 2 with his commercial gilt and 6th in his class with his purebred Berkshire gilt.

On Friday, Cameron was back in the ring with his crossbred market barrow, earning 5th in his class.

We are so proud of both of these members and all the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments they put into their projects! 👏🐷

We’ll be back at the State Fair next week for goats! 🐐💙💛

The Bellevue FFA chapter had an incredible week at the Jackson County Fair, and we couldn't be more proud of our members. Whether they represented FFA, 4-H, or both, their dedication, hard work, and countless hours of preparation were on full display. The wait is over the Bellevue FFA Steve Schroeder Livestock Invitational is today! We're excited to welcome teams from across the area for a day of livestock judging, leadership, and friendly competition.

Bellevue FFA members came together to host a special petting zoo for the residents at Mill Valley Nursing Home! It was a heartwarming time filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful connections as we built bonds with the older generation. 💙💛
