To all in Auto-1 this fall, thank you! You girls (and guys) did a great job on this project. We started off without much ready to go and you all pulled through to make it happen. I'm very impressed and appreciative of those who put in work from cleaning and organizing to disassembling, repairing and reassembling the VW.

Our favorite subject!!! Chemistry and fluid maintenance! Using BG products donated by TORQ Distribution we cleaned all fluid systems in our Rabbit, DRASTICALLY improving performance, fuel economy and reliability. Our car wouldn't be complete without these services.

We got the stuff! We now have enough 6 mil nitrile gloves to cover all of those hands as many times as necessary no matter what size they are. Shout out to Adventures in Auto and the Crash Test Dummies. You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the help getting things going this semester. More gloves earlier would've been nice but you all made it happen anyway.

Got some new wheels!! Courtesy of the talented people at Dent Wizard St. Louis Wheel Repair Center. You would never know these aren't actually brand new wheels.

If your wheels are scratched up, peeling or suffer from pothole mine fields, please check them out. They're wheel operations department can do some amazing work reconditioning automotive wheels.

We fixed, replaced and repaired a lot.

We learned a little about head liners.

Some washing. And washing. And washing.

And then the work began...

Thanks to the great people at Mckay Auto Parts we received every repair part and maintenance part we needed to complete all necessary operations on our class project car.

They went well out of their way to obtain these items to then donate the entire list to Belleville West Auto Class. We needed repair items like a whole new air-conditioner compressor, horns, gaskets, a clutch hydraulic cylinder, wiring supplies for our high end car audio system and a new HVAC blower assembly. We also needed many parts which are considered wear items and therefore are routinely replaced as maintenance parts including but not limited to: Belts, filters, wiper blades, the best car battery in the biz (the Napa Legend-75 Series), brake pads and rotors, engine oil, universal coolant and more.
