The POWERSHIELDS Presale Release
in celebration of my 61st lap around the sun.

At 60 years old, my professional art dreams are finally manifesting, and my career is expanding in ways that I have imagined since my high school days at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, (DESA). Art-wise it has been a great year. To celebrate my accomplishments and artistic growth, I invite you, my party people, to join an opportunity to own an original work "POWERSHIELDS", with an added bonus of a surprise handmade gift.

POWERSHIELDS: Mixed medium works on paper involving hand embroidery, semi-precious gemstones, and paint on 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper.
These designs will inform future 3-Dimensional works of sculptures and wearable objects in my upcoming series.

POWERSHIELDS for this promotion are 8 x 8 inches and unframed ORIGINAL artworks by me.

These works are being created for an upcoming exhibit in early 2024. Any works included in the exhibit will be mailed immediately after the close of the show.

I was inspired by a recent trip to terrain 💚 to make my own moss bowl. I used both purchased dried mosses & lichens as well as a number of items I gathered myself! I think this centerpiece will look so pretty glowing on my table. It reminds me of all my favorite things that I see in the forest while I'm hiking!

We came up empty trying to find a 🍄 this morning, so we left one instead. If you're walking the Ma & Pa trail today keep an eye out! This vintage shroom, though made by me, may have been used in a woodland fairy party once upon a time. 🧚🏼🍄✨
