Lemonade Day Coastal Bend is a community-wide event with the goal to unite residents and train the next generation of entrepreneurs, bringing people together in towns such as Alice, Robstown, Calallen, Portland, and many more areas in the coastal bend.
“Our mission is to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow… one lemonade stand at a time!” – Lemonade Day Coastal Bend
With a total of seven stands on Saturday morning, the various booths offered a variety of different sweet treats and goodies alike, ranging from baked goods, handmade jewelry, home decorations, 3D-printed toys, and of course, refreshing cups of lemonade with many different flavors!
Children from ages 3 to 13 were given the opportunity to develop their business skills, promote their products, make profit for their future goals, and have a fun time while doing so.
