The Club was the driving force behind The Blair Foundation for Historic Hollidaysburg, The Recreation Commission, and building the Hollidaysburg YMCA. Our Club won the GFWC Pennsylvania State Awards for our Kid Alert program for children; Community Improvement Awards: Tot Park at Canal Basin; and the Renovation of Kids Kingdom Playpark and Canal Basin Park. Our Club continues to be the driving for

ce behind many worthwhile community projects such as planting trees along Logan Blvd, the Canal Basin Park, and the Kids Kingdom Playpark at Legion Park. Our Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), and GFWC Pennsylvania. The object of the GFWC/HAWC is to develop the educational, civic, and social interests of its members, to advance the welfare of the community, and to promote the progress and work of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and GFWC Pennsylvania.
