BEST Class of 2029 8th Grade Formal

Now that I've had time to gather my thoughts, I wanted to recognize and show gratitude to many people who worked to make the dance happen!
Parents- thank you for raising money and buying tickets to make the dance happen. We were able to rent a nice space, decorate, have a nice ice cream and snack bar, have a DJ, and hire Autumn to take photos.
Planning Committee- Michelle, Sally, Nicole, Juliana and Jessica-thank you for all the time you committed to planning, discussing and meeting, even on days we all wanted to go home.
Matt- thank you for donating your time and keeping the room moving.
Chaperones- thank you for your diligence, time and willingness to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, with the right parents, and safe.
Thank you all so much for ensuring the success of the dance! I will speak for all of us that were behind the scenes, when we saw the kids dancing and having fun, it made it all worth it. It was so special to see them all dressed up, dancing and having fun.I'll post some of the pictures I took, and I posted the link to the page that Autumn posted the photos she took. Feel free to save and print or share!

Your student will be coming home with information about the dance. The forms went home Friday for most students. Please review, sign, and return to Mrs. Huffman by Friday. If you need to send your ticket money with the form, the funds will be accepted. All students attending the dance need to sign the forms, as well as parents.

Fundraisers were due this morning. Did anyone not turn in their money today that needs to do that? Please message me.

Raffle tickets are due this Thursday to Mrs Huffman before 10:00am! You should have initially gotten 8 but can see Mrs Huffman for more! Remember every 8th grader that sells 10 or more is entered into a prize drawing!

The kids will come home with tickets and a flyer today. To make this event free to the kids, we have a specific goal of 570 tickets. I'm posting the ticket stubs below in case you want to print and sell. Again, the tickets are due on December 19th by 10:00am so we can put everything together for the drawing. We will draw from tickets that have been turned in with money. It is important to get a phone number on the ticket so we can call to notify the winners. Address is not important.
Remember every 8th grader that sells 10 tickets will be entered into a drawing for one of two prizes. Kid will come home with 8 tickets today. If they need more, please let Mrs. Huffman know or you can message this page.
