Hope Chinese Charter School K-8 Mandarin Immersion Charter (Beaverton School District) & #1 Elementary Charter School in Oregon.

Hope Chinese Charter School is a non-profit public elementary school providing a bilingual and bi-literate education in English and Mandarin Chinese. HCCS is sponsored by the Beaverton School District and the Oregon Department of Education as a K-8 charter school. HCCS launched its charter in Fall 2012 with K-1, and will add 1 year every year thereafter till grade 8. To reach this goal, we need yo

Our 5th and 8th grade students have an incredible opportunity to bring their Mandarin skills to life through travel in China.

From stepping into classrooms at a local bilingual academy to exploring the rich history and culture all around them, students gain real-world experience that deepens their learning in meaningful ways.

This journey is more than a trip. It is a chance to grow in confidence, build global perspective, and truly experience the language they study every day.
