The Beaver Falls Garden is a collaboration between the Beaver Falls high school and middle school to create a garden and greenhouse that uses responsible watershed garden methods to provide an outdoor classroom for students in science courses

The school garden is going to continue to use box tops as a way to raise funds for supplies this year. Our account is listed as Beaver Falls Area Middle School.

Box tops are now completely digital! All you do is download the app and scan the receipts anytime you buy something with the box tops logo. If you shop at Walmart you can link your account and all of your box tops will be automatically scanned. All you have to do is download the app and Link your account.

Scan the QR code or enter the referral code when you sign up to earn a bonus for the garden!

Perfect day for gardening!! We might have a few weeds but we also have a habitat buzzing with native pollinators! 🦋 Monarchs, Swallowtails and tons of Bees!

Summer Gardening! ☀️ We planted some tomatoes, carrots, zucchinis and a new phlox. We spread new soil to fill up the first half of the raised beds and added 20 bags of mulch!

A group of environmental science club students visited the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens yesterday. We learned more about native gardening, learned about providing habitats for animals in our garden and studied life inside of the pond!

We did some more transplanting of flowers from the indoor greenhouse and we started spreading our new soil to fill the raised beds!

And back to gardening! Yesterday the after school gardening crew laid down some more black fabric, planted more flowers from the indoor greenhouse and did some watering and weeding 💦
