Callais and the implications for equitable representation and protections established by the Voting Rights Act (VRA).

The developments in Louisiana v. Callais threaten to undermine decades of hard-won gains by challenging district maps designed to ensure communities can elect representatives of their choice.

Through our Power of S.H.E. initiative, we approach advocacy through the lens of holistic justice. When representation is compromised, the well-being of our communities is placed at risk.
