Music came naturally for me. I was born into a musical family and began singing and playing at a very early age. My mother bought a piano the year I was born and I remember learning and applying chords to songs at around 5 or 6 years old. Church also played a large part in my musical development. Congregational singing and small group performances taught me a lot about leading and harmonizing. Th

e piano is my primary instrument, but I have been able to adapt to other instruments fairly easily. I have played piano, guitar and bass in various Gospel ensembles. Such as modern, southern, and bluegrass

I've also performed in country, top 40, Americana, and bluegrass bands. My favorite is small group, church choir and 1940s Andrews sister harmony type singing! I have written and arranged many different genres of music

I have taught many students over the years. I have taught piano, vocal resonance and pitch control, solo singing, and lead singing with harmonies, as well as hearing and finding harmonies.
