We're currently hiring Teacher Assistants and offering a $1,000 signing bonus for eligible candidates. We'll also have information available for those interested in becoming Substitute Teachers or Bus Drivers.

Due to the ongoing move and packing process, sales of previous yearbooks and school memorabilia have now ended. We appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and support as we preserve and prepare these items for the transition to our new school.

However, the 2026 Yearbook is still available for purchase through Jostens.

With the incredible interest surrounding this historic year, we strongly encourage anyone who would like a copy to place their order online as soon as possible. Demand has been exceptionally high, and there is no guarantee that extra copies will be available after distribution.

A Quick Reminder for Sunday’s Last Walk

As we prepare to say goodbye to Pamlico County High School, please remember that this is still an active moving and construction site. You’ll see boxes, equipment, and areas that may look a little jumbled as preparations continue for the transition to our new school.

This event is intentionally low-key - no formal program, no speeches, just a chance to gather together, walk the halls one last time, share memories, take photos, and celebrate the generations of Hurricanes who called this place home.

Please be respectful of posted areas, watch your step, and enjoy this special opportunity to reconnect with classmates, friends, teachers, and neighbors.

Attention Pamlico County Schools Alumni!

We've gotten quite a few requests to purchase one of the "extra" 25-26 PCHS Yearbooks. The yearbook advisor wants to STRONGLY ENCOURAGE - ANYONE who wants to purchase a yearbook to go ahead and purchase it online RIGHT NOW to guarantee that you will get one. The extras are VERY LIMITED and if you do not place your order now you cannot be guaranteed a book.

The price is $76. When ALUMNI click the link below, enter YOUR NAME in the student name box and then when it asks for Homeroom Teacher - place ALUMNI. The yearbooks will not come in until late July or August and you will receive a notice to come pick it up.

🏀 Remote Learning Day - Thursday, March 12

Moments like this don’t come around very often, but when they do, Pamlico shows up.

Pamlico County Schools will operate on a remote learning day Thursday, March 12 to allow our students, staff, and families the opportunity to attend and support the Hurricanes as they compete in the State Championship game.

Families will receive additional guidance from their schools regarding remote instruction for the day. Staff that are not able to attend the game will report to work as usual.

Our student-athletes have worked incredibly hard to reach this moment, and the support of their school and community means the world to them.

Let’s fill the stands with Hurricane pride. 🌪️🏀
