Today, Friends of Imagination Library of Bay and Arenac Counties honors the remarkable life and legacy of Dolly Parton. ❤️📚

Dolly gave the world so much through her music, her kindness, and her generosity—but one of her most meaningful gifts was her unwavering belief in the power of books. She believed that every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read, to dream, and to have books of their very own.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, that belief became a reality for millions of children, including children right here in Bay and Arenac Counties. Her vision put books into little hands, encouraged families to read together, and opened doors to a lifetime of learning and imagination.

In honor of Dolly and the extraordinary legacy she leaves behind, Friends of Imagination Library of Bay and Arenac Counties will be making a donation to support her charitable work and her mission of early literacy.
