🌟 Community Helpers Day at Southdowns Pre-K was a huge success! 🌟

Our students had an amazing time learning about the people who help keep our community strong every day. From engaging conversations to hands-on experiences, it was a day full of curiosity, excitement, and big smiles!

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers and our CTEC partners for sharing your time, talents, and passion with our students. Your support helps bring learning to life and shows our children the many possibilities ahead of them.

Dear EBR Families,

Out of an abundance of caution due to the winter weather, possible icy road conditions and power outages expected on Monday, East Baton Rouge Parish Schools will move to an asynchronous learning day on Monday, January 26.

Students will not report to school in person. Teachers will provide assignments and learning activities for students to complete at home, and families should monitor school and teacher communications for specific instructions.

We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions throughout the weekend and remain in communication with local meteorologists. Any additional updates will be shared as soon as they are available.

What a Great First Week at Southdowns Pre-K!

We’re off to an amazing start to the semester at Southdowns Pre-K. Our students jumped right in to learning, exploring, and growing each day.

We were also honored to have Superintendent Cole and Chief Gilbert visit our campus and show their support for Ms. Scott and the important work happening at Southdowns Pre-K. Their presence and encouragement meant so much to our school community.
