A reminder that the Alumni Club Crawfish Boil is this Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 pm, at the home of Melissa and David Pate (La Beta - 731). Guests and spouses are welcome and we will have the LSU baseball game on! It is looking like we will have great weather and plenty of food and drink. There is also a pool if you or your little ones want to jump in!

Today, on what would have been his 24th birthday, we remember Brother Joseph Delaune, who entered the Chapter Grand two years ago. Joseph served the Louisiana Beta (LSU) Chapter as treasurer and alumni secretary. During his battle with Ewing's sarcoma, Joseph often invoked the words of ESPN's Stuart Scott: "When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." In coelo quies est.

As we enter the third year as an alumni association, we hope you mark your calendars and join us for two events that we have planned for Fall 2017.
Saturday, September 16
The alumni club will host its annual party to kick off our year on September 16. Please join us at Winston’s Pub & Patio (531 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005) for the Mississippi State v. LSU away game. We’ll be on the back patio with food and drink for our members and their guests.
Saturday, October 14
This year LSU will celebrate 150 years of Greek Life the weekend of the LSU v. Auburn game. Please join us for a tailgate before the game on LSU’s Baton Rouge campus to show our support for a continued, active Greek community at LSU!
November/December
We’ll conclude 2017 by hosting an end of the year happy hour in New Orleans. Please watch for your emails, our website, and our page for details.
