✨ Bringing History to Life at McKinley Elementary School! ✨

What happens when history meets innovation? At McKinley Magnet Elementary School of Arts and Communication, students turned learning into an unforgettable hands-on STEAM experience!

This spring, 2nd and 3rd grade students partnered with Little You 3D to design and create their own historical figurines using 3D printing. Under the guidance of STEAM teacher Miss Hawkins, students transformed classroom lessons into real-world creativity—turning imagination into something they could design, hold, and bring to life.

From digital design to printed figurines, students didn’t just learn history—they lived it. Their creations were proudly displayed in a school museum and even used in classroom skits, blending storytelling, collaboration, and creativity in powerful ways.

This is what meaningful STEAM learning looks like: engaging, hands-on, and unforgettable.
