Governor John Bel Edwards Declares January 1st as "His Love is Amazing D.A.A.Y."

Governor Edwards has made a significant announcement signing a statewide commendation that recognizes January 1st as "His Love is Amazing D.A.A.Y." This special day is dedicated to fostering a stronger community connection through collaboration with the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans, and providing amazing experiences for 20,000 underserved youth.

The commendation represents a remarkable initiative by the Governor to bring together the power of sport and community engagement. His Love is Amazing D.A.A.Y. aims to expunge one court through the experience of another, highlighting the values of teamwork, resilience, and community upliftment.

In collaboration with the Law of Life Ministries International, this commendation seeks to involve Apostle Mardia Scott, who has been instrumental in advocating for community development and youth empowerment through initiatives. Together with Governor Edwards, Apostle Mardia Scott will play a vital role in fostering positive change and promoting opportunities for fostering His love is Amazing to many families and underserved youth in our state.

The joint effort of the Saints and Pelicans goes beyond the world of sports. Both teams have demonstrated their commitment to community involvement and have long-standing programs dedicated to enriching the lives of young individuals. Through this partnership, an incredible opportunity will be made available to 20,000 underserved youth who will have access to amazing experiences with the Saints and Pelicans.

"It is an honor to launch His Love is Amazing D.A.A.Y. and join forces with the Saints, Pelicans, and Apostle Mardia Scott to make a positive impact on the families in our communities and underprivileged youth.
