The importance of shopping small:

While finishing your Christmas gift shopping and planning ahead- please consider shopping local. While I may not be a “shopping” for gifts business- I strive to ensure that your money goes to the important things!

If you had lessons with me this month, here’s where some of your money went:
-A homeschool monthly tuition covered my daughter’s tumbling classes. These are the highlight of her week.
-Two tutoring sessions paid for my Wi-Fi. Many students use my Wi-Fi throughout the school week for tests, homeschool, quizzes, etc.
-Who knows how many lessons went to diapers and formula, but your sessions kept my baby fed and dry.
-Several lessons provided Christmas presents for my family and Santa will be coming to see Ember.

Walmart could care less about your money.

But when you shop small, you provide for members of your community, keep your dollars local, and make lasting connections that small business owners will forever be grateful for.

Dear families and students,

After five years of caring for my father and recently losing him, I’ve made the decision to take the summer off to rest, grieve, and spend much-needed time with my husband and our baby girl. This season of life has been heavy, and I’m giving myself permission to pause and heal.

As such, my tutoring services will be closed for the summer. I want to thank each of you for your understanding, your continued support, and for trusting me with your children’s learning over the years.

I’m already looking forward to returning this fall, recharged and ready, with some exciting updates I can’t wait to share with you.

Dear Students and their Families,

Thank you for all of the love and uplifting messages regarding my pregnancy and upcoming delivery! At this time, I have decided to begin maternity leave as of 3/5/25! No baby yet, but giving myself time to prepare both mentally and physically!

I will be checking messages and texts! If you student finds themselves in need of emergent help, please feel free to reach out and I can determine our best course of action. While I am taking time away from work to celebrate our new little one, please know that I have your child in my mind and they also remain a priority! I will do my best to accommodate any students in urgent need prior to delivery.

I will not be taking any new students for the remainder of the Spring 2025 school year.

I appreciate you all! I cannot wait for everyone to meet our little princess when she comes!
