Just a quick reminder that there's still time to join us at the Southern University Presidential Invitational this weekend! More than just a fun event, it’s a chance to contribute to the Engineering Scholars Program. Our brightest scholars attend a university that celebrates diversity and individuality, values each student's unique traits, and has a proven track record of fostering success. Take a look at the photo below to see the scholars from the first two cohorts. The average ACT score for these cohorts was 27, and as we wrap up recruiting for our third cohort, they are setting even higher standards.
The event will be hosted by Dennis Shields, President of Southern University, with several university leaders also in attendance. Additionally, six elected Louisiana legislators will be there, offering you a unique opportunity to connect with influential figures in our community while enjoying a variety of activities.
