Some moments remind us just how special it is to be part of a child’s story. 💚

Years ago, Jonathan Harris, Aidan Rowley, and Jailen Stewart had their first little “graduation” here at Mother’s Choice Child Care… and now we get to celebrate them as high school graduates. 🎓

From tiny footsteps in our classrooms to walking across the stage with the Class of 2026 — what a joy it has been to watch them grow into the incredible young men they are today.

Jonathan, Aidan, and Jailen, your Mother’s Choice family is so proud of you. We are cheering you on as you begin this next chapter. 🤍

Once a part of the Mother’s Choice family, always a part of our family.

☀️ What’s a summer tradition your family NEVER skips?

Snowballs after dinner.
Movie nights under blankets.
Pool hair that somehow lasts all season.
Beach towels permanently living in the car.
Staying outside way later than usual.

The little traditions may not seem big in the moment…
but somehow they become the memories children carry forever. 💚

☀️ Did anyone else basically LIVE outside during the summer as a kid? 💚

Bikes.
Sprinklers.
Mud.
Barefoot races.
Coming home only when somebody yelled your name from the porch.

There’s something about sunshine, movement, and outdoor play that children naturally respond to.

The running.
The climbing.
The laughter.
The freedom to explore and simply be kids.

Sometimes emotional wellness looks a lot like fresh air, messy play, and children completely lost in the joy of the moment. ☀️

Sometimes emotional wellness looks a lot like muddy feet, wet clothes, and children completely lost in play. ☀️

Summer has a way of slowing childhood down just enough for wonder to sneak back in.

The puddles feel bigger.
The laughter gets louder.
And ordinary moments somehow become the memories that last forever. 💚

What’s one thing that instantly reminds you of summer as a kid?

📦 What’s something your child has turned into a toy that absolutely was NOT meant to be one? 😂

A cardboard box.
A wooden spoon.
A laundry basket.
The remote control you were actively using five seconds ago.

Children do not need constant entertainment to create meaningful play. 💚

Sometimes boredom is where creativity begins.
It’s where imagination grows, independence develops, and simple moments become childhood memories.

Honestly, some of the best summer days happen with almost nothing at all.

☀️ How is your family spending Memorial Day weekend? 🌊

Beach trips, backyard cookouts, pool days, movie nights, staying home in pajamas… we want to hear it all. 💚

There’s something special about the beginning of summer as a child.
The sandy feet.
The wet swimsuits.
The late sunsets.
The memories made in the middle of ordinary moments together.

We hope your weekend is filled with laughter, rest, and the people who make life feel like home. 🤍

One day, their prayers may become the place they turn when life feels heavy. 🤍

Teaching children to pray is about more than memorizing words.

It’s teaching them:
• where to bring their worries
• how to slow down
• how to express gratitude
• how to seek peace
• and how to remember they are never alone

For many children, prayer becomes more than routine.
It becomes comfort.
A safe place to lay down fears they don’t yet have words for.

The quiet bedtime moments matter more than we realize.

Sometimes the dishes wait.
Sometimes the laundry stays unfolded.
Sometimes dinner is simple and bedtime comes a little later than planned.

And honestly… that’s okay. 🤍

Children rarely remember a perfect house.
They remember how home felt.

This weekend, give yourself permission to slow down, snuggle a little longer, laugh a little louder, and let “good enough” truly be enough.

You are creating memories in the middle of ordinary moments every single day.

Main character energy. ✨

Some children walk into a room quietly…
and some arrive like the soundtrack should already be playing. 😊

One of the sweetest parts of early childhood is watching little personalities bloom with confidence, joy, imagination, and security.

When children feel emotionally safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves, their personalities shine in the best ways. 💛

And this sweet girl?
She understood the assignment. 🤍

We know her mama, Taylor, probably recognizes this pose immediately. 😄

Does your child have “main character energy” too? Tell us about them in the comments!

One minute they’re tiny…
The next minute they’re answering emails, taking coffee orders, and running the whole office. 💻🤍

Pretend play may look simple, but moments like these are actually helping children build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and emotional security.

When children feel safe enough to imagine, explore, and “be the grown-up,” they’re doing important work through play.

And honestly?
We’re pretty sure she’s ready for management. 😊

What role is your child pretending to be lately?
