🎓 Hats off to two of our own Reachers!
Ngozi Maduagwu and Jaime Allala are Candidate Success Advisors at Reach University — and this week, they completed impressive milestones of their own!
Both spend their days encouraging candidates to keep going, show up, and earn their degrees. This week, that's exactly what they did.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Maduagwu on earning her Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Liberty University, and Jaime on earning his Master of Science in eLearning from California State University, East Bay.
Congratulations, Dr. Z and Jaime! We are so proud to learn and grow alongside you. Your achievements are a powerful reminder that the pursuit of growth and lifelong learning never ends. 🎉

Four Stanford Law School classmates. One big idea for the future of higher education.
A new story looks at how Joe E. Ross, Afam Onyema, Ari Simon, and Melanie Wachtell Stinnett, all members of the Class of 2007, have reunited at Reach University to help working adults turn their jobs into degrees.
Built around an apprenticeship model, Reach is rethinking what higher education can look like for people already serving schools, hospitals, and their communities. Its premise is simple: a degree should not require leaving work, taking on heavy debt, or stepping into a model of college that was never designed for so many of today’s students. 📣 Working adults already serving their communities — educators, behavioral health professionals, and aspiring leaders of all kinds — deserve degree pathways built around their lives, experience, and potential. ✨
That’s why we’re so excited to welcome the inaugural cohort of the Apprenticeship College of Health (ACH)!
Across Washington state, aspiring substance use disorder professionals are preparing for behavioral health careers that will strengthen the communities they already know and care deeply about — while building toward accredited Apprenticeship Degrees grounded in work-embedded learning and real-world experience.
Please join us in welcoming the first of many behavioral health learners to the Reach community! 🧡
We’re honored to welcome this inaugural cohort and grateful to our innovative employer partners helping make this pathway possible.

Some of the most powerful future teachers are already serving students every day — they just need a degree pathway built for the realities of their lives.
After years serving students in Louisiana schools, Paulesta Gilbert found a degree pathway that honored the educator she already was, while helping her become the credentialed teacher she had long worked to be.
At 58, she graduated from Reach University a semester early and stepped into her first full-time teaching role at the innovative Webster Parish Schools, bringing with her years of experience, persistence, and care for students.
“Delayed, but not denied.” 👏

This Memorial Day, and always, we honor the selfless and courageous members of our military who gave their lives in service to our country. We are the land of the free because of the brave.
The GI Bill turned sacrifice into opportunity, expanding access to college, careers, and upward mobility for generations of Americans.
Today, Apprenticeship Degrees continue that legacy by connecting work and learning, supporting working adults in earning a debt-free degree while building a professional career that leads to lifelong flourishing.
Please join us in honoring those who lost their lives in service to our country as we work arm-in-arm to expand opportunity through real work and real purpose in communities across the U.S.

🍎 As part of Reach University’s deepening roots in Arkansas, Employer Success Lead Venus Torrence was proud to join educators, future teachers, and state leaders at the Educator Commitment Signing Day at the Arkansas State Capitol — a meaningful celebration of the future of the teaching profession. ✨
The gathering, joined by Governor Sanders and Secretary of Education Oliva, reflected a shared commitment to strengthening Arkansas’ educator workforce and expanding pathways into the profession for future teachers across the state.
We were especially proud to be joined by Brittany McIntosh, a Reach University 2025 graduate who now works with the Arkansas Department of Education.
Hearing Brittany share her Reach journey with guests throughout the day was a powerful reminder of what this work and the Apprenticeship Degree makes possible.
We are grateful to play a expanding role in strengthening the educator workforce in Arkansas.

📣 A proven pathway into teaching is expanding across the Delta Region.
Through a generous $2 million grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York, Reach University is helping paraprofessionals and school staff become licensed teachers in the communities they already serve.
Through the Apprenticeship Degree, school employees can earn a bachelor’s degree and move towards licensure while working full-time, at a cost of $75/month and without student loan debt.
At a time when many schools across the Delta are struggling to build and sustain their educator workforce, this work is about opening doors for people already serving students every day.
We are deeply grateful to Carnegie for their partnership and commitment to expanding access to education and upward mobility.

📣 A new milestone and signal of what’s possible with Apprenticeship Degrees.
For the first time, 100% of Reach University's Intern Candidates who submitted the state’s CalTPA Cycle 2 assessment passed — on a brand-new version of the exam. 👏
This doesn’t happen by chance. It reflects the strength of a model where candidates are supported by an expansive community of professors of practice, field supervisors, cohort peers, district-employed supervisors/mentors, and innovative employers.
It also reinforces something we see daily: work-embedded pathways are rigorous and effective. Reach candidates are demonstrating what’s possible when preparation is aligned directly to the work of teaching.
Tonight, we’ll recognize this achievement — and so much more — at our annual Intern Program Celebration, honoring our largest graduating cohort yet (more than 3x from last year!).
Please join us this evening beginning at 5:30pm PT to celebrate every Intern Candidate, employer partner, and the communities they serve.
