The Saxophone Society at LSU

Congrats to the LSU Saxophone Octet for their premiere of both Cameron Rodgers-Johnson’s and Andrew Bass’ compositions at the North American Saxophone Alliance’s biennial conference at The Ohio State University! Special thanks to Eastman Wins, as well as LSU College of Music & Dramatic Arts, LSU School of Music, and everyone who has supported the Saxophone Society at LSU. Geaux Tigers!

The time is official! The LSU Saxophone Octet will be performing at the North American Saxophone Alliance’s Biennial Conference on Saturday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the Stillman Hall Auditorium. Come listen! The Saxophone Society would love to also give a huge thanks to to the LSU School of Music for helping fund this amazing experience. See y’all there! 🎷

The LSU School of Music had a great Single Reed Day! Our guest artists provided some great insight and played for the students. For the first time, we had a combined Saxophone and Clarinet Ensemble! Thanks to for some of the pictures.
