Mr. De’Aree Harris of came to hang out with us today. He talked to students about how agriculture affects their daily life and helped with the germination lab. Thanks, Mr. D. We look forward to your visits this semester.

We’re harvesting as much as we can this week!

Ms. Fitz’s 2A Agriscience class has been working with SU student .williamss all semester learning about important issues affecting the environment and planning a sales pitch to a team of judges showcasing their plan for a product that combats an environmental issue. This program has been an incredible success for all participants.

The first harvest of the spring 😂. We had one jalapeño ready to harvest today and the students wanted to give it to Ms. Remble. After spring break we will have a garden full of tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeños, eggplant, squash, zucchini, and cucumber. Get ready.

It’s our favorite time of year! Lots of good things happening at Westdale Ag.

Ms. Kai from SU is working with our 2A class on a semester long environmental justice project. Today, she talked more about the project and introduced how to pitch an idea.

After the soil came on Tuesday right at dismissal and couldn’t be dropped off, we received it on Wednesday. The students are so excited to get planting for the spring.

We loved having Kailynn Williams, Forestry senior. She is planning to some work with ag students on some environmental justice projects.
