SMS Jr. Beta Club

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in robotics. You do not have to be in 4-H to attend. Just call Ms Patty at 870-793-8840 to sign up.

On Saturday, April 25th, starting at 8:00 am, the Southside Middle School Jr. Beta Club students will be at Shug’s to help raise money for their trip to the National Beta Convention in Nashville!

Come by for your favorite latte, shake, energy drink (or whatever you’re craving) and support these awesome kids — proceeds will go directly toward their trip expenses.
Swing by and say hi to the Beta Club crew! They’d love to see friendly faces cheering them on.

Day 2 of State Junior Beta Convention was just as exciting as Day 1! Our 6th graders competed in the Oral Rounds of Quiz Bowl (they had to make the Top 8 in the state to make it to the Oral Rounds so we are super proud of that!). We also competed in on-site drawing & painting and the Speech Contest this morning.
We had several club & team awards at the awards ceremony this afternoon:

Shoutout to a powerful group of Jr. Beta girls who saw a need and stepped up in a big way!

These young leaders created hygiene baskets filled with helpful products to place in every student bathroom across our school. From deodorant to feminine care items and more, their thoughtful efforts ensure that all students feel confident, supported, and cared for throughout the day.

In this project, our Jr. Betas identified a need and created a plan to meet it and supported their fellow classmates with kindness and empathy!
We are so proud of their initiative and heart for service. This is what Beta is all about! 💙💛

These incredible kids made Easter goodie bags for the residents and personally delivered them last week to Mountain Meadows Nursing Home!
The joy they brought was absolutely priceless- smiles, laughter, and even some happy tears filled the halls!
We are so inspired by their compassion and commitment to service! Way to go, Betas!
