🎉Mina Stars who were at school everyday were entered into a drawing to win a bicycle or scooter. We would like to thank the Bastrop Rotary Club for making this possible. We appreciate your kindness and generosity!

🎉Today we celebrated Ms. Pamela Burchett on her retirement with a final "walk" of the halls at Mina. She has been in education for 47 years, 33 in Bastrop ISD. We wish you the best in your retirement!

Yesterday, students in Kindergarten and 1st grade showcased some of their knowledge from the year in our Knowledge Fair! 

As a reminder this week we are celebrating all of our Mina Stars!

Pre Kindergarten - 1:30 pm

⭐Wednesday, May 20th
2nd - 8:30 am
Kindergarten - 9:30 am
1st - 10:30 am
3rd - 12:45 pm
4th - 1:30 pm

⭐Thursday, May 21st
5th grade walk will begin at 8:00 am. The awards ceremony will take place right after the walk.

Class parties will begin at 9:30 am and end at 10:45 am.

🏈Thank you to the Bastrop High School Varsity Football players who helped with arrival this morning at Mina! It was a great start to the day for our Mina Stars.

We would like to congratulate Ms. Pamela Burchett on her retirement! She has been in education for 47 years, 33 in Bastrop ISD.

Ms. Burchett's dedication to the students in this district is unmatched. She worked tirelessly with our most vulnerable children to help close academic gaps and ensure they received the support they needed. She advocated fiercely for her students, always making sure the right services were in place.

Ms. Burchett created a welcoming and engaging environment where even the most struggling readers wanted to be. She had a special ability to bring magic into her teaching, and students loved gathering around her table to learn from her.

Ms. Burchett, thank you for the impact you have made over the years and the example you have set for all of us. We wish you the best in your retirement!
