🚗 CRCA Spring 2026 Driver’s Education – Registration Now Open! 🚗

Bastrop ISD Community Education is excited to offer our Spring 2026 Driver’s Ed class at CRCA / Genesis High School! This course is a great opportunity for students to begin learning the skills and responsibilities needed to become safe and confident drivers.

📍 Location: CRCA / Genesis High School
📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday
⏰ Time: 4:45 PM – 7:45 PM
💲 Cost: $650

Students will receive classroom instruction that covers the rules of the road, safe driving practices, and preparation for the next steps toward earning their driver’s license.

What an incredible season for our HoopStars Spring 2026 League! Today we celebrated our School Division Champions and medalists from our 3rd–4th Grade and 5th–6th Grade divisions.

We are so proud of every player who stepped onto the court this season. Your hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication made this season truly special.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our players, volunteer coaches, referees, and families who supported these athletes all season long. HoopStars continues to be a league where players of all skill levels can learn, grow, and most importantly — have fun!

Our Community Connects event at Camino Real Elementary School was a huge success! We are so thankful for our local partners who came out to share the many valuable resources available to support our families. Thank you Kinney Restaurant Management, Inc. for joining us. Bastrop Believes highlight! This new initiative makes it easy for individuals and community organizations to directly support Bastrop ISD students.

The cost of extracurriculars can be a challenge for many families. Things like club dues, AP exam fees, or even glasses—can add up quickly. Bastrop Believes is here to help remove those barriers so every student has the opportunity to succeed.

BISD STARS Annual Sneakers Ball was a huge success! ♥

Our students had an amazing time celebrating, dancing, and making memories together. A special thank you to our Mina Elementary School food service staff for preparing delicious meals for our kiddos, we truly appreciate your support!

Thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and wonderful students for making this such a fun and memorable event. We love seeing our BISD community come together!

Bastrop High School Key Club Spreads Valentine's Cheer! ♥

Last week, our amazing Bastrop High School Key Club students shared kindness and compassion by creating Valentine’s bags and delivering them to residents at Argent Court Assisted Living.

These thoughtful acts of kindness brought smiles, connection, and a little extra love to our community! Our students continue showing what it truly means to lead with heart. We are so proud of them for making a positive impact and spreading joy beyond our campuses!
