You can keep your protein high and stay on track — even when your days feel all over the place.

Here’s a simple way to do it without logging a single gram 👇

Use your hand.

✋🏼Each palm-sized portion of high-protein food gives you about 20–30g of protein.

If your goal is around 100g/day, aim for 3–4 palm-sized servings spread out across the day.

This keeps you from scrambling at night, staring into the fridge wondering how to cram 60g of protein into one meal 🫠

My body has changed since becoming a mom… but so has everything else. 🩵

I never sit down but that’s because I’m chasing little feet, playing in the floor & dancing in the kitchen.

I sleep less but I live more- soaking in belly laughs, cuddles on the couch & tiny hands to hold.

Sometimes I think about my old body, my old life but I recognize that I have more joy, more love & more purpose today.

So yeah, my body has changed. But so has my happiness. And I wouldn’t change that for anything. ✨

I’m not kidding…

I took a nap everyday.

But that’s what happens when you have green tea for breakfast and two mini pitas for lunch.

Eating more meals full of protein, carbs & fats allows me to …

- Make meaningful connections with my students
- Make 3 million decisions during the day
- Answer the question “Can I go to the bathroom?” 100x a day
- Teach 100+ 8th graders science

AND THEN COME HOME AND…

- Tickle my son and hear that belly laugh
- Make a nourishing dinner, clean up
- Go on coaching calls
- Workout
- Spend quality time with my husband every night

Decide that you matter too & do something to prove it to yourself by taking care of yourself.

After a long day of teaching, the absolute last thing I want to do is pack my lunch for the next day.

Unfortunately, a tightly packed, rigid schedule leaves little time to “grab something from somewhere”.

& I hate bulk prepping protein.

So this is what I do instead…

Make extra dinner and pack it as leftovers.

Easy to pack, clean up and TRACK!

Actually I lied…

The first thing I do is wash my hands. 👩🏻‍🏫🚫🦠👧🏻👦🏽

1- Changing into my comfortable clothes is probably one of the top five feelings I have in the day. So comfy after a day of pacing my classroom.

2- Then, I like to have a refreshing drink in a fancy glass. Alcohol is not going to give me the energy I need to make it to 7pm bedtime. Seltzer and grapefruit juice hits just right.

3- It costs $0 to sit in silence (except if you count my mortgage payment) but silence recharges me like nothing else. Where are the introverts at??
