We had a backyard birthday party, so much fun painting a island theme.

We wrapped up our workshop yesterday w/ painting acrylics on canvas after a few days of drawing & composition. Congratulations to a job well done!

Today was our third portfolio workshop. These kids are on point in their process, I'm glad to be there to facilitate their foundation. We talked about topics in class the day before adjust the assignment to their interests, conclusively drawing in pencil a picture from a photo of a shell, but a still-life pastel would be a step up & they rose to the occasion;

Our first day for the Wheaton Park District Workshop was held today at Monroe Middle School, we started off w/ a project about Butterflies & Moths!

Wheaton Park District is hosting classes for us this summer. We have a workshop coming up June 22- 25 at 9-11:30 am, drawing, pastels & watercolor, lots of new mediums & interesting subjects, huge portfolio from which to choose your masterpiece. $118/res
