We have sad news to share with our lake members. Swains Lake has confirmed Variable Milfoil. NH DES has been working with us in discovery as well as our next steps to mitigate. Please read the attached document publicly on our website to provide you with the latest information we have. As we know more, we will be sharing.

Cyanobacteria has been spotted throughout the entire lake. NH DES has been notified. If you see Cyanobacteria please submit picture to : [email protected]

At the moment limited siting of Cyanobacteria - DES has been alerted. Alert still in place (which means conditions are favorable for a bloom but not widespread). If you see in your area, it is advised not to swim.

Be careful out on the water!

Our second loon family on the lake has hatched a baby chick! We are beyond excited! Remember to please keep far away from the families and respect their privacy so we can keep them alive and well.

Remember our 4th of July Boat Parade is on the 4th at 5pm!!

NH DES has successfully obtained samples from our lake. Results will be shared as soon as they are received. *Swains Lake is currently listed at "Advisory Status".* DO NOT swim or let your pets to the water.
